Cycling Oswestry Gently - COG Rides

Cycling Oswestry Gently - COG Rides Cycling Oswestry Gently (COG) is an informal social cycling group. We meet at 11am on the last Sund Any type of bicycle welcome, so long as it is road worthy!

Cycling Oswestry Gently (COG) is an easy paced cycling group for families, beginners, returnees, or any cyclist who wishes to come along for a sociable ride. Children are very welcome (under 16’s accompanied by an adult) – for example, we regularly have a 6 year old on a tag-along bike. We meet at 11am on the last Sunday of every month near the wooden train on Wilfred Owen Green, behind the old ra

ilway station in Oswestry, Shropshire. After a gentle ride exploring the lanes around Oswestry and a pub or cafe stop for food, we usually return by 2pm. COG rides started with the Turkey Sandwich ride held between Christmas and New Year 2011, and have been growing in popularity ever since. So why not come along and give it a go!
