We are not just a hotel - we have a wide range of facilities and hold many functions here including weddings, christenings, parties etc. Our website is full of information if you are looking to book a room or to arrange a function/wedding. The Hand Hotel is located in Chirk - a beautiful village at the gateway to The Ceiriog Valley - making it one of the best hotels to stay at while in the local area. We are local to Chirk Castle, Offa's Dyke, Llangollen and Chirk Marina. The hotel's guestrooms have all the conveniences to suit guests' utmost comforts and are all non-smoking. Guests can experience high standards of comfort while staying with us and everything you need is right on site such as bar/pub, coffee lounge, real ale bar, restaurant, free wifi, business centre. Guests are also invited to make use of our family-friendly garden area.

VACANCY – HOTEL GENERAL ASSISTANT

The Hand Hotel, Chirk is currently seeking a matured and experienced individual with previous hospitality experience to join our team as a Hotel General Assistant.

This is a varied position, supporting the day-to-day operation of the hotel across several departments, including:

Reception
Bar
Restaurant
Functions
Private Events

We are looking for someone who is professional, reliable, friendly and confident when dealing with guests, with the flexibility to work across different areas of the hotel as required.

The successful candidate will be someone who takes pride in providing good customer service, works well as part of a team and is comfortable working in a busy hotel environment.

Previous hospitality experience is essential.
