Parenting on holiday still involves snacks, negotiations and approximately 400 outfit changes…

But give everyone some fresh air, a garden to explore, somewhere new to wander and a bit more space than usual, and somehow the whole day feels easier.

That’s one of the reasons we think Castell Courtyard works so well for family groups - there’s space to be together, but also plenty of room for everyone to do their own thing.

We might be biased, but we think Mid Wales is a pretty special place for a family holiday.

It’s somewhere you can fill your days with exploring - or deliberately do very little at all.

And when you’re travelling as a big family group, that flexibility makes all the difference.
