This week we're introducing our fantastic Bar Staff member, Phoebe! 🍻
Phoebe joined the team in November 2024 and has quickly become a great addition to the team, always bringing a friendly smile and positive energy.
Here's a little more about her:

🥪🍕 Favourite Dish: Halloumi & Pesto Sandwich or Pepperoni Pizza
📚 Outside of Work: Phoebe enjoys reading and spending time at the caravan.

Well... Yorkshire Day has been and gone for another year! 💙💛
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces celebrating with us.
The pints were flowing, the laughs were loud, and not a single person complained... which is unusual for Yorkshire folk! 😂🍻

Did you know there's a remarkable piece of history within our pub? ❤️
Many of our customers have seen the photograph of Reginald "Reggie" Earnshaw, but not everyone knows the incredible story behind it.
Reggie was born on 5th February 1927 and spent part of his childhood living here at what was then The Millers Arms – the building we now know as Brewers 1841.
When the Second World War began, Reggie was determined to do his bit. At just 14 years old, he lied about his age to join the Merchant Navy. Tragically, on 6th July 1941, the SS North Devon came under enemy attack off the Norfolk coast, and Reggie lost his life.
He was just 14 years and 151 days old, making him the youngest known British service casualty of the Second World War.
His bravery and sacrifice will never be forgotten, and we are incredibly proud that our pub was once his home. ❤️
Next time you visit us, take a moment to look at the memorial on our wall and remember a local lad whose courage far outweighed his years.

This week we're introducing our brilliant Bar Supervisor, Eddie! 🍻
Eddie joined the team in October 2024 and has quickly become a valued member of the team, always ready to chat about the newest beer on the bar!
Here's a little more about him:
🍺 Favourite Ossett/SALT Beer: Hell Rat
🥪 Favourite Dish: Any of our sandwiches!
⚽ Outside of Work: You'll usually find him watching Leeds United.
💙 Fun Fact: Eddie is a Leeds United season ticket holder and one of their biggest fans!
