It was great to be part of the Adventures After Retirement Roadshow at Chorley Town Hall yesterday.

We had a fantastic time meeting so many people from the local community and chatting about the support available to them in their local area.

From questions about home care and staying independent at home to simply sharing advice, information and reassurance, it was lovely to speak with so many people about what matters to them and their families.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, and to Chorley Council for organising such a useful and welcoming event.

We always value opportunities to get out into the community and help people better understand the support available across Chorley and the wider local area 💚

A Lovely Catch-Up at Our Carers Cafe ☕️💚

We had a really lovely catch-up with Denise today at our Carers Cafe at The Farm Burscough.

One of the things we enjoy most about the Carers Cafe is having the opportunity to sit down with carers, share a brew, and hear about everything they’ve been up to since our last get-together.

Caring for a loved one can be both rewarding and challenging, so having a space where carers can connect, chat, and support one another is so important.

These conversations remind us why our Carers Cafe is such a valuable part of the community, offering friendship, understanding, and a chance for carers to take a little time for themselves.

If you're an unpaid carer and would like to meet others in a similar situation, we'd love to welcome you to one of our future sessions.

☕ Good company, friendly faces, and plenty of support await.
