A huge happy birthday to Mark, who has been part of the Strule family on and off for the past 10 years. Our favourite DJ, he always keeps us entertained and brings the best atmosphere whenever he’s here.

We hope you’re having an amazing birthday and the best holiday in Lanzarote! 🌴☀️

☀️ Good morning, folks! We’re open from 9.30am☀️

Safe to say summer has well and truly arrived… and our kitchen has turned into its own little tropical hotspot!

To keep the team from completely melting, we’ve made the call to press pause on the grill for today. We’d rather not have anyone passing out over the hotplate!

We’re still serving plenty of delicious options, including toasties, paninis, fresh salads, smoothies, coffees and all your favourite treats, so there are still lots of tasty choices waiting for you.

We know everyone’s enjoying the sunshine, and dining out but spare a thought for the gals who are climbing stairs and working beside 200°C equipment all day. And not to mention we work in a glass building…It’s a different kind of heat in there! 😅

Thanks so much for your patience over the next few days while we work around this mini heatwave. We’ll keep smiling, keep the coffee flowing, and hopefully keep ourselves from turning into toasted paninis! 😂☀️

Folks, it’s officially hotter than the surface of the sun in our kitchen! 🔥

For the safety of our staff (and to prevent us from becoming part of the menu), we’ve made the difficult decision to retire the griddle and fryers for now.

We’ll still be serving up our delicious toasties, paninis, and salads , but anything involving the fryers or griddle has waved us goodbye until the kitchen stops resembling an industrial incinerator.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused, but right now the gals are one degree away from spontaneous combustion. 😅

Thanks for your understanding, and remember: if you want chips today, you’ll need to bring your own fan!

The lighting thief and the hazelwand show case matinee, please keep in mind that it’s always a very busy time for us.

If you’d like to guarantee a table, give us a call and we’ll be happy to get you booked in.

Planning to pop in? We’d recommend being seated and placing your order by 11:30am. As all of our food is freshly cooked to order, waiting times can be a little longer than usual on show days.
