We're hiring! Now our uni students have gone back to their studies, we've got some gaps in the team and we're looking for new faces to join us at The Bell and Bear.

Flexible hours including weekends and evenings, over 18s only. Prior experience is ideal but not essential.

Thursday 24th, The Little Oven of Joy are in with pizza from 5pm, plus it's our monthly quiz night, 7:30pm start, £5 per team.

Friday 25th, burgers by Sizzlers from 5pm.

Saturday 26th, Asian platters by The Village Kitchen from 5pm.

From 5pm, Addy's Chopz are serving up dishes including wings & burgers with a Trini & Ghana twist - proper flavour to kick off your weekend!

Our Wine Refresh promo also begins this evening and runs right through until the end of the weekend - perfect timing to try something new alongside your food.

Emberton needs you. The Curse of The Bell and Bear is coming, a spooky walk and trunk or treat on Saturday 31st October, starting 4:30pm and ending back with us for food, drinks and Halloween fun.

To pull it off we need help from the village. If you can decorate a car for trunk or treat, dress up as a Halloween character, hand out treats if your house is on the route, help decorate the route, marshal the walk, or lend a hand with set up and pack down, we would love to hear from you.

However you can help, get in touch with Joe and Reon at The Bell and Bear.

JOIN US TONIGHT FOR OPEN MIC NIGHT!

Hosted by Simon T, kicking off from 7:30pm (registration from 7pm) - whether you're performing, singing along, or just fancy a midweek pint with some live music, everyone's welcome!

Our Open Mic attracts all kinds of talented locals - singers, musicians, poets, and comedians. Come and support the community talent on our doorstep!

Can't make it tonight? We aim to run Open Mic Night on the third Wednesday of every month, so there's always another chance to catch it (or grab the mic yourself!).
