كزال أحمد (بالكردية: کەژاڵ ئەحمەد)، شاعرة وكاتبة، أحد أكثر الأصوات البارزة في الشعر الكردي الحديث، ولدت في كركوك عام 1967، ومن ثم انتقلت إلى العيش في السليمانية حيث نشأت ودرست، وانتقلت فترة للإقامة في عمّان، إلا أنها عادت مجدداً إلى العيش في مدينتها.
بالإضافة إلى كتابة الشعر، عملت أحمد لسنوات طويلة في الصحافة، وكتبت لأشهر وسائل الإعلام الناطقة باللغة الكردية.
أصدرت الكثير من الكتب في الشعر والمقال باللغة الكردية، وترجمت قصائدها إلى عدّة لغات منها الإنجليزية والفارسية والتركية والنرويجية، ولم يصدر لها باللغة العربيّة إلا كتاب واحد هو "قصائد تمطر نرجسا".
