Hi all, what a glorious weekend. If you are ordering food please can I ask you get your orders in for tomorrow morning so I can get everything ordered in we need.

Now for some honesty from us both.

As a business 2022 has seen us slide into no longer making any operational profits and on the last few weeks alone we are not breaking even and we off set that by cooking meals for us instead of buying shopping.

There are non negotiable areas of our business and these are we do not want to charge more than £5 per meal despite increasing food and fuel costs and we are conscious that everyone is facing rising bills at the moment. We also do not want to compromise on ingredients and swap down to cheaper brands. If we are making a tomato sauce for a pasta then it's top quality Italian tomatoes or passata.

However we are at the point where we are considering if the time, utility costs, fuel, ingredients and use of at least a full day is worth us carrying on be that a temporary pause with a plan to review in a few months time or to pause indefinitely

We could expand to more areas and have considered parts of South Manchester, Stockport, Prestwich and Bury as we have had people interested but then it has to be worthwhile. Do we do minimum orders per person or only go once we have a minimum amount of sales.

We really want to make this business a success, to create exciting and interesting meals, to show plant based food is interesting, tasty and exciting and you lose nothing by not using meat, poultry, fish, eggs and dairy.

When we lose 60-75% of our sales compared to last year it is disheartening but we are aware we are all spending less. We go from 12-15 customers a week to 3, this week we have 1 or 2.

What we would like to know is your interest in buying from us, do you enjoy some meals rather than others, would you like to see more choice, specials such as breakfasts or Sunday dinners?

We don't want to rush into a decision over this but we are conscious at what point does the time, effort and expense stop being worthwhile

It's that time to bring you a new menu and there's a perfect option for you this week with the gorgeous sunny weather we've been having.

Banh Mi Salad with plant based chicken, sesame croutons and a soy & hoisin dressing

Baby leaf salad with meat free chicken pieces, ripped ciabatta sesame croutons, vegetables and a tasty hoisin and soy dressing. Based on our love of Vietnamese food this traditionally meat heavy sandwich is deconstructed into a gorgeous salad perfect as a full meal.

Grönsaksbullar (Swedish Meatballs)

Meat free meatballs in a rich, creamy mustard sauced served with freshly made soft buttery mash and oven roasted carrots. Did someone mention a famous Swedish furniture store....

Sweet Potato Katsu.

Cubes of sweet potato oven roasted and served in a rich Japanese Katsu sauce loaded with fresh vegetables. Served with steamed brown rice, crispy onions and pickled ginger.

Deliveries will be on Tuesday 29th March this week.

Hi everyone

Just a heads up due to work commitments there won't be food deliveries this week. We will be back next week and I'll confirm later in the week what day that will be.

As the weather is showing promise we are looking at some amazing salad options as one of the meals.

Hello hello hello....

Its that time for another week and another menu. Hope you are ready for this....

Lasagna. Yeah it's been a while, we know but we also know how much you love this too and it always sells well. Layers of pasta with a rich mushroom and vegetable bolognese topped with a creamy dairy free bechamel cheese sauce.

General Tso Tofu. Sticky, sweet and full of flavour we take tofu chunks and marinate them and serve with fluffy jasmine rice and toasted sesame seeds. Do not miss this!

"Beef" Stifado and mush. Beef style pieces, mushrooms, onions and a raft of spices make a rich deep and slightly warming dish. Served with buttered mash and steamed leafy greens. Having tried this ourselves we absolutely loved it.

As always meals are still only £5 including delivery. If you haven't ordered before please read the pinned post on our business page for details on payment, allergen information and delivery.

Hi and here we go for another week.

Next week with work commitments meals will be on Wednesday 2nd March with three meal options this week

Vegetable Biryani with home made mango chutney. Indian spices, onions and vegetables baked in the oven served with an artisan small batch mango and chilli chutney.

Pesto Pasta. Wholewheat pasta, red onion, cherry tomatoes, OATLY creme fraiche, Vegetarian Butcher What The Cluck pieces and green pesto combined to make an amazing dish that you can enjoy cold or hot, you choose!

Cauliflower "Steaks" with red pepper sauce, Chilli, lemon and herb crumb and paprika potatoes. Thick cauliflower slices in a rich red pepper sauce, lemon and herb crumb served with baby potatoes roasted in olive oil and hot & sweet paprika. We wanted to create something truly outstanding thats a bit of a departure from our comfort foods, interested to hear your thoughts on this!

Delivery Wednesday evening, please drop your orders in by Sunday teatime please if you want feeding.
