It's our first Christmas here, and we're not doing it by halves.

We've spent the last few weeks getting it right, and it's very nearly ready to
share with you. Three things.

Party nights — for the work do, the family one, or the friends you only ever
seem to manage to see in December.

Christmas Day — spent here with us, the kitchen doing what it does properly,
and not one of you anywhere near the washing up.

Festive menus — running right through the month, because nobody should have to
wait until the 25th for a proper Christmas dinner.

Dates, prices and the full menus land soon, and bookings will open at the same time.

We're open Wednesday to Sunday as always. December weekends fill up everywhere,
so if you've already got a date in your head, keep an eye on this page.

🔴🔵 The Manchester derby. Here. Sunday teatime.

Manchester United v Manchester City, 4:30pm, live on the biggest screen around. First derby of the season, and there's no better place in Oldham to watch it.

Coventry v Brighton gets us going at 2pm, and the final day of the Test is on from 11am, so there's no reason to leave it late.

Feast Menu's on from 3 till 6 — Lamb Donner £7, Dirty Wings £10, salt & pepper chips £6, beer buckets 5 for £15 — so get yourself fed before kick-off.

⚽ Saturday night football, back to back.

Tottenham v Everton at 5:30, then Sunderland v Arsenal at 8pm — both live on the big screen. Huddersfield v Castleford in the Super League at 8pm as well, and day four of the Test running through the afternoon.

Feast Menu's on from 3 till 6: Lamb Donner in Pitta £7, the Devonshire Special Lamb Burger £10, Dirty Wings £10, salt & pepper chips £6. Beer buckets 5 for £15 and cocktail jugs £25 for the table.

If you're in earlier, the Weekend Specials Menu runs 12 till 3 — any starter and any main from that menu, £21.99.

Get down, get fed, get a seat before the football starts.

🏏 Doors open at 12, and the cricket's already going.

England v Pakistan, day three of the Test — on since 11 and running all afternoon on the big screen. Come in, get a decent seat, and settle in properly.

The Weekend Specials Menu is on 12 till 3: any starter and any main from that menu for £21.99. Devonshire Bao Buns with fillet steak, Wagyu Slider, Chicken Milanese, Grilled Lamb Chops. Ask at the bar for allergens.

Then tonight it's a full round of Super League — five games, all at 8pm. Wigan v Catalans, St Helens v Hull KR, Leeds v Hull FC, Warrington v Toulouse, Leigh v Wakefield. We can't put them all on at once, so tell us which one you want on the big screen and we'll sort it.

Cricket now, a proper lunch in between, rugby later. Not a bad Friday.

❤️ What a first night that was.

Thank you to everyone who came down for the first Big Money Bingo — and huge thanks to Steve from 5 Star Bingo for hosting.

We'll be doing it all again next Wednesday, 7pm, every week from here.

And tonight it's Champions League football. Manchester United v Sabah, 8pm, live on TNT Sports 1 and up on the big screen here. Day two of the Test is on from 11am too, so there's something on all day.

🎉 First Big Money Bingo — tonight, 7pm 🎉

It starts tonight, and it's here every Wednesday from now on. Nine games, real cash prizes, and karaoke to follow once the last number's called.

£10 all-in covers the whole night, or pay as you go: £1 a game, £1.50 for Disco Bingo, and £2 each for the two Jackpot games.

It's a big night of football too — the Champions League is back. Liverpool v Atletico Madrid and Napoli v Arsenal both kick off at 8pm, and Chelsea v Leeds in the Carabao Cup goes at the same time. All on the screens.
