This week's player in the spotlight is Ryan Powell.

Now, you'd be forgiven in thinking Ryan is currently injured as he's not appeared on any team sheets for a while... He's not, he's busy chasing the England football team around over the pond! We suppose there's worse hobbies to have!

When Ryan is available he's our middle overs Mr dependable with the ball, He's made a real impact for us in this area since joining from neighbours Springvale in 2024 and returned 20 and 21 wickets in 2024 and 2025 respectively.

Ryan's main attribute is his ability to gain seam and swing movement at a good pace, proving a handful for batsmen at all times.

This year sees Ryan sponsored by Massey's Cafe for which he sends his thanks and appreciation. Massey's can be found on fountain Lane buisness park, Oldbury and is a great pre match stop off before games. Great menu and at great prices, start your day right at Massey's Cafe!
