It’s with the greatest sadness that I am forced to announce the closure of Alright Spud this week.

I will update on the situation towards the end of the week but unfortunately I’ve been let down again and as I can’t be in the shop this week, I have no choice but to close.

Alright… we’re in a bit late today because one of the young spuds had (and passed) the theory driving test!

So we’re celebrating! These prices are for today only and when they’re gone, they’re gone!!

Portuguese beef and onion spud £4.75

Egg and bacon mayo:
sandwich £2.75 baguette £3.25 or spud £3.95

Blackened Cajun chicken spud £4.50

2x mini quiche (cheese or cheese and ham) with potato salad and coleslaw £2.50

I’ve heard what you’ve said. Some have voted with their feet. I can only apologise for all the early closings, inconsistencies and all the other issues.

And I can only try to do better. We are open every day from 10:30 until 2:30.
It should have been those hours for months but it is definitely is now.

And if that changes, I’ll put a note up but there are some more changes and mouthwatering new recipes.

Every day of the summer there will a special.
Today there’s two:
2 mini crustless bacon and cheese quiche, potato salad and coleslaw. All made fresh and from scratch. £2.50

Bacon and egg mayo on a sandwich or spud: £2.75 or £3.95

And there’s cheesecake!!

Good morning, hope you're all enjoying the sunshine.
