Quite a lot happening at Anchor & Steam this weekend.

First up: Eastern Passage has arrived.

Our new limited-edition Sumatran roast is here to mark something rather special - we’re approaching one year since we opened the doors in Oban.

Dark chocolate, spice, butter and syrup. A proper limited run to celebrate the first year of Anchor & Steam.

Coffee Brew Bags are back in-stock...

Open Water.
Black Harbour.
Steam Ahead.

Three roasts. 12 brew bags per pack. Proper coffee for when there’s no coffee machine in sight.

And there’s a new guest on the shelf: Black Harbour.

Tomorrow, Saturday 26th September, The Coastal Pour is heading to Oban Food Market, while the shop will be open as normal.

Five days. One island. We’re taking Anchor & Steam on the road. ⚓️

This October, we’re heading from Oban to Portree for our first Anchor & Steam: On Passage - PRT.

For five days, we’ll be taking over a shop on Skye and filling it with the things we love - sheepskins, home fragrance, coastal pantry bits, ceramics, homeware and plenty of coffee to take home.

A little piece of Anchor & Steam, packed up and taken north.

1–5 October 2026.

Portree Pop-Up Shop.

Five days. A new place.
A little adventure for us, and hopefully something worth coming to find.

Our Coffee Brew Bags are here - proper coffee, packed into individual brew bags, ready to go wherever your coffee machine can’t.

As summer starts to wind down, a little shoutout to Alfie. ⚓️

Months of recipe research, testing and tweaking - usually followed by “try this one.”

Around 1,800 eggs and 120kg of GF flour later, it’s been a ridiculous amount of baking.

And somehow I’ve put on a stone since March. 😂

Here’s what’s coming out of the kitchen this weekend:

Dalmally. We’re here. ⚓️

The Coastal Pour has officially made it onto home turf.

📍 The Coastal Pour is heading to the Dalmally Agricultural Show.

Dalmally is home for us, so this one feels a little different. We’re bringing the trailer back to our own patch with plenty of coffee, a cabinet full of cake and a few good things from Anchor & Steam.

The Oban shop will be closed for the day, but don’t worry - we’ll be back Sunday.

The Coastal Pour is out exploring today - and we’ve brought a very good selection of cakes with us.

The shop is open as normal in Oban, so you’ve got two chances to find us.

One is in Oban.

The other has a waterfront view.
