Not a pleasant post, but I feel it needs said. I am absolutely horrified and quite frankly disgusted at the level of abuse that has been given to my staff recently. We work within a small shop and therefore have a small team who are trying to do their best under exceptionally hot and busy circumstances and for those of you that have seen fit to abuse them over things such as closing for a toilet break, dinner break, running out of certain flavours etc. you should be thoroughly ashamed of yourselves. We understand it can be frustrating waiting in long queues in the heat, but a little patience and understanding goes a long way. I would suggest that if you can’t be pleasant, or at the very least show basic respect for hardworking staff who are trying their best, that you take your business and your behaviour elsewhere as this will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave.

To those of you who have been patient and kind during the busy season, we truly love serving you and appreciate your custom very much. You would never expect such a level of abuse and rudeness in a tiny little ice cream shop, but welcoming in those of you who are lovely and understanding makes the world of difference, so thank you🤍🍦

Sadly we have had to shut today at short notice due to a machinery breakdown in our ice cream cabinet. We hope to get this fixed as soon as we can but might not be possible until Monday. We haven’t had the best luck so far this season but thank you all for your patience and understanding when things go wrong unexpectedly.

Hopefully see you all for an ice cream again after this weekend. 😞🍦
