A little autumn break 🍂

The Whitehouse will be closed from Thursday 1st October, reopening on Tuesday 13th October.

We’re taking a short break from service to recharge, and stock up on plenty of wild autumn berries for the kitchen along the way!

We look forward to welcoming you back when we reopen.

A little look at the delicious dishes from our previous ‘A Taste of Wild Morvern’ three course lunch:

Crispy egg yolk with wood sorrel mayonnaise and foraged salad
Mushroom burger with chanterelle and nettles
Meadowsweet Panna Cotta

All inspired by or using some of the foraged ingredients from that mornings foraging session with Clare Holohan (West Highland Herbal).

There’s nothing worse than being greeted by a menu and then not knowing what to choose, which is one of the reasons why we offer our tasting platters.

Designed to show off the best local produce we prepare, we have three to choose from (so there’s still a small element of choice, sorry 😅!).

Pictured here are the Tobermory smoked fish and Vegetarian tasting platters, but we also have a Highland Meats platter, which is equally delicious!

A Taste of Wild Morvern - Saturday 26th September, 10am

Join us for another guided foraging session with Clare Holohan (West Highland Herbal), followed by a cooking demonstration at The Whitehouse Restaurant with chef Chris.

We’ll then finish off with a 3 course lunch (and cocktail or mocktail!) inspired by what we find, for only £65 per person.

There’s still some spaces left on our next foraging morning, but they’re going quickly!
