What started as an old agricultural building has been transformed into the café, event space and welcoming community we know today.

From the first stages of construction to the Picks Barn you see today — it’s certainly come a long way! ✨

Bank Holiday Monday at Picks Barn ☕️

Not quite the Bank Holiday weather we were hoping for… but that’s no reason to stay home! 🌧️

Our Barker Room will be open, giving you even more cosy seating to settle in, dry off and enjoy a proper pot of tea (or coffee!) with a homemade slice of cake or freshly baked scone. 🍰🫖

And of course, our delicious breakfast and lunch offerings will be available too! 🍳🥪

So grab your friends, family or four-legged companions and come and spend a cosy Bank Holiday with us. 🐾

⛔️ Road Closure Notice – Birdfair 2026 ⛔️

Please note that the road from Lyndon Top into the village will be closed from 10th – 12th of July due to the Birdfair event.

But don’t worry – the café is still open and accessible! And the diversion is less than 1 mile!

To reach us, simply take the farm road into the village as an alternative route.

If you are coming to our Fish and Chips evening on Saturday, but also want to watch the England v Norway match, you can do both!
We’ll be screening it in The Overcroft for anyone attending the supper who would like to watch.

We were delighted to host the first day of the finals for the Nestlé Toque d’Or hospitality competition on Monday.

Competitors spent time on the Lyndon Estate, learning how regenerative agriculture can support biodiversity, soil health and long-term food resilience.

They were then tasked with preparing and serving a two-course lunch for twelve invited guests, using seasonal ingredients, whilst demonstrating knowledge of wine pairing, guest engagement and sustainable hospitality practices.

One of our guests commented: “What a perfect showcase of Picks Barn, the Lyndon Estate farm philosophy, incredible local produce, talented team and the genuine heart of the local community.”
