Following on from our previous message, below are the details for Tracy’s funeral and wake. This is an open invite, please note there is a capacity for the crematorium.

Tracy’s funeral will be held at the following location:

Dress code: come as you wish (Tracy’s wish)

The wake will follow at 11:30 at the following location:
The Italian Greyhound
14 London Road
Great Glen
LE8 9GF

PLEASE NOTE:
The Italian greyhound has a very small car park that will be prioritised for disabled users only. Please have a look around and consider car sharing as much as possible.

There will be a collection box at the funeral and the wake for Loros Hospice. We are kindly asking that no flowers are brought as these have been taken care of by the family. In place, please donate in the box or through the QR provided. You help towards this cause is greatly appreciated.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Tracy Merritt, who left us yesterday after a courageous battle with cancer.

Tracy was the heart of Mrs T’s Pantry and a cherished part of the Wigston community. Her warmth, kindness, and unmistakable smile made the café so much more than a place to eat, it was a home, a haven, and a reflection of the love she poured into everything she did.

To us, she was the most loving mum and Nan Nan we could ever have wished for. Her generosity, humour, and gentle strength touched countless lives, and the impact she made on our family and our community will be felt for many years to come.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to LOROS for the exceptional care and compassion they showed Tracy in her final days, and to all the medical teams who supported her throughout her illness. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

Arrangements will be shared in due course, once we have had time to process this immense loss.

Thank you for keeping Tracy in your thoughts and for the love so many of you have shown her over the years.
