Our recent trip to Hanoi had us trying Bánh Mì all around the Old Quarter 🇻🇳🥖

And it got us thinking about our own Bánh Mì at Caphinique…

We’re really proud of our fillings (we might even say we prefer ours 👀😂), and our current baguette has that lovely crispy outside — but we know there’s still something missing.

A real Hanoi Bánh Mì has a very particular bread. Super thin and crispy on the outside, but incredibly light, airy and almost cloud-like inside. And when you break into a fresh one… that beautiful buttery smell. 🤤

That’s the part we want to get right.

So we’ve come home with a new little mission: to start working towards baking our own Bánh Mì bread at Caphinique. 🥖❤️

The dream is fresh Bánh Mì bread, baked downstairs every morning, ready to be filled upstairs.

Can we make it happen within the next 6 months? 👀
