Stewart's Coffee Roasters Global Flavours — Local Roots
Roasted in Sneinton, Nottingham We realise that we came together in this company because we share the same philosophy on life.

That to truly experience life is to make every day count. Not always with something big but learning to appreciate the little things just as much as the grand adventures. This has inspired our entire coffee range from the Sunset Espresso through to The Road Trip and Escape. Each coffee represents a little bit of each of us and our lifestyle. We all came to realise that life is simply too short, th

at things change and you never know what is around the corner. Life is definitely too short for a bad cup of coffee

Introducing our May’s Roaster’s Choice - Starmaya AA, Zambia 🇿🇲

This May, we’re proud to feature a remarkable Zambian coffee, the roastery team loved the sound of light sweet tasting notes! We cannot wait to share it with you!

This coffee is fully washed, a process chosen to highlight clarity, structure and refined acidity. After harvest, ripe cherries are pulped and fermented to gently remove the fruit before being thoroughly washed in clean water.

This careful approach results in a cup that’s precise and elegant, allowing brighter, wine‑like notes to shine while supporting deeper sugar sweetness. Slow, even drying helps preserve balance and definition, creating a coffee that feels composed, expressive and beautifully clean from start to finish.

Introducing April’s Roaster’s Choice - Viani, Colombia 🇨🇴

Viani, Colombia delivers a bright yet comforting cup, balancing lively fruit with gentle sweetness and depth. The first sip opens with a pop of tart cranberry, bringing freshness and lift, before softening into buttery shortbread richness across the palate.

A smooth layer of milk chocolate rounds things out, adding warmth and structure through to the finish. Sweet, balanced, and quietly vibrant, this coffee is equally at home as a filter or espresso ☕️

MEET THE TEAM - Assistant Roaster, Sally

Next up in our ‘Meet The Team’ series is our superstar Assistant Roaster, Sally. At the roastery, Sally plays a vital role in developing new coffees and packing orders ready to be sent to our customers.

Her favourite coffee in our current range is the half-caffeine ‘Buzzcut’ for its smooth, chocolatey notes with less jitters - best enjoyed as a classic flat white.

When not roasting coffee, you’ll find Sally in the countryside either rock climbing or transforming her van into a campervan! 🧗

Keep your eyes peeled for the next ‘Meet The Team’ post soon ☕️

This standout lot from Lot 20 in Kericho County showcases their signature approach to co‑fermentation, where carefully sorted coffee cherries are fermented anaerobically for 96 hours alongside pulped local oranges and koji culture—a method designed to enhance complexity rather than infuse direct orange flavour.
