Hello it’s Laura! You might know me as the gal who makes your coffee or breakfast in the morning.

Iv been at Duck on a Wall since day one, and I’m sad to say that today and tomorrow is my last days serving you wonderful lot.

If I manage to say goodbye to you in the next two days I’ll be so happy, but if not thank you for being the best customers on the PLANET!

Don’t fear- the truck isn’t going anywhere and the lovely Fin will be in charge going forward!

Duck on a Wall — Trailer Manager
Full‑time · Permanent · Mon–Fri
Hours: 7:30/8:00 — 14:30/15:00

Location: Next to QMC, Nottingham

We’re looking for someone to take Duck on a Wall and make it their own. If you love food, enjoy leading a small team, and want real responsibility (plus entrepreneurial upside), this could be for you.

What you’ll do
Run daily trailer operations: open/close, hygiene, cash handling.
Lead a small team: recruit, train, rota and supervise.
Order and manage stock; minimise waste.
Prepare food to our standards and deliver excellent customer service.
Handle simple admin and daily takings.

You’ll need
Driving licence and own vehicle (you’ll bring water to the trailer).
Experience in food preparation and food safety.
Some management or supervisory experience.
Friendly, reliable, organised, and great with customers.

Pay & perks
Competitive salary.
For the right candidate: a bonus based on 20% of profits after tax.
Sociable daytime hours, Monday–Friday.
Real chance to grow the business and shape the menu.
