Hello lovely people . Often I bump into customers and they ask what I’m up to now ?
See below - I’m carrying my parents tradition and cooking Greek inspired recipes that have been passed down to me . I will be at the burton Joyce village hall this coming Saturday from 10-1 . Last months community market was a huge success and I hope it will be a regular thing . I really look forward to seeing some familiar faces .

Due to the passing of my father, the shop will remain closed for the rest of the week and will reopen again on the 14th February.

With deep regret this weekend will be my last at bjs fish bar 😢
It’s been an incredible journey of almost 23 years in total .
I have met some wonderful people along the way that I would call friends not just customers.
I’d like to thank each and every one of you for your continued support especially over the past few years when things have been tough .
Pascalis will be taking over as of 1st Nov and I hope you continue to show him the support you have shown me .

SURFACE WATER FLOODING IN BURTON JOYCE
On the way home from collecting a Morrisons Shop, I saw the flooding along Main St, I grabbed a couple of cones, Wellies on and headed out.

We were able to close Chestnut Grove, Meadow Lane and Main St, while water subsided. All roads have now re-opened.

We have been out and visited with residents across the village who have had issues with flooding including the COOP.

Thanks to Nola for lovely cup of coffee, our flooding team, Cadent and residents for their patience.
