Day 5 of the Hakata Hankyu Food Fair 2026

It’s non stop for John in Japan. His days are so long and busy so we were glad he had time for a pint with Aman The Scrap Box at the end of his shift 🍻

We wonder if John will be sick of the sight of pies by the time he comes home 🤣

From Nottingham to Japan!

John is busy getting ready for the opening day of the Cod’s On Tour stall at the British Food Fair in Fukuoka. He has A LOT of pies to make!!!

You can find him at Fukuoka, Hakata Hankyu Department store from September 29th to October 4th.

From there he will move to the Osaka Hankyu Umeda Main Store (Store No. 9) from October 7th to 12th.

If you are nearby John would love to see you so come and say hi and buy a pie 🥧

Someone is back in Japan 🇯🇵

Instead of fish and chips John has taken our Sunday dinner roast chicken pie to the British Food Fair 🥧

He’s in good company and has been spending time with the guys from The Scrap Box

The last we heard he’d been awake for 27 hours so we’re hoping he gets to bed asap 😴

We will share more of his adventure over the next couple of weeks.
