I was a teacher for 10 years. For 2 of those years I taught in special needs schools.

Did you know??

I have ADHD! I was only recently diagnosed myself in my 40s. It explains years of never quite fitting in, always feeling 'misunderstood ', it explained why I cry a lot and have so much super human energy!

This makes me unique to support and identify send children. I have successfully fought for 2 children to recieve their diagnosis' and have lots of ideas and useful tips to support children who need extra care and attention. We never promise to be able to meet everyone's needs. Each child is unique and sometimes due to circumstances (eg pregnancies and other children's needs) we can't always continue care...BUT...we try and adapt and offer families support and advice. And man do we try.

E has been with us after school 3 days a week for about 4 yrs! We love his singing, spelling, love of sclub 7 and how knowing him has made so many other children inclusive and kinder!

We hope to support more send children.

On Friday, Dingley's Promise celebrated the launch of the new Department for Education-funded Early Years SEND CPD programme, now live and available to early years educators across England:

Introducing our NEW Ad hoc after school workshops and sensory play sessions!

Do you need occassional childcare?
Would you like your 4-11 yr old to do the odd fun club?
Without the commitment?
Would you like your child to make new friends outside of their school?

Then book onto one of our after school workshops with experienced DBS and childcare trained staff. Use of the sensory cabin and bell tent. Use of garden for play. Snack and fruit also provided. Sessions run 330-6pm.

Sensory play. Monday 5th October.
Explore our cabin's sensory equipment (fibre optics, bubble tube, dark den and lights and sensory floor squares). Explore the sensory calm bell tent in the garden, use our tree hammock and experience sensory messy play activities in the garden. Ideal for SEND children. Inclusive to all.

Make a pen to keep workshop
Wednesday 7th October
Make a funky pen using our specialist pen making kit! Take it home and keep.

Halloween potion making
Wednesday Oct 14th
Make hocus pocus potions like a witch or ghoul, complete with bubbles and costumes and spooky music!

Bracelet making
Thursday October 15th
Make as many bracelets as you can! Beads and equipment all included. Take home and treasure.
