The Vale Hotel is situated on the coner of Thackereys Lane and the Mansfield Road in Daybrook. A family orientated pub serving the local community and visitors alike with typical pub fare plus an excellent carvery. An eclectic bar stocked with a variety of beers, lagers, wines and spirits and 6 regularly rotated Real Ales. The Vale prides itself on fun and its Quiz and Sticky 13's nights held regularly on Thursday and Sunday evenings, attract a welcome crowd. Major sporting events are catered for with the multi screen rooms (see board for details), plus other local fun events, such as golfing days, family fun days and many others. The Vale can also cater for private functions of any size having a multi room layout. The Vale Hotel is the former flagship pub of the now defunct Home Ales Brewery. A listed art deco building due to the many historical features all add to the charm and character of the venue. Now owned by Spirit Group, the pub has been under the tenency of the vastly experienced Martin and Susanne Byrne for a number of years and coupled with the friendly staff a warm welcome is guaranteed.
