The Local Pub Company bids a fond farewell to The White Horse, Ruddington after 13 years
It is with great sadness that The Local Pub Company leaves The White Horse in Ruddington today, bringing to an end our 13-year tenure at the pub.
After much consideration, we have taken the difficult decision to sell The White Horse back to the brewery, having operated the pub on a Market Rent Only agreement since 2023.
The White Horse has been a huge part of our story for more than a decade, and we are incredibly proud of everything that has been achieved there during that time. We have enjoyed some fantastic years at the pub and have made many wonderful memories along the way.
Most importantly, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to our loyal customers and the wider Ruddington community for the incredible support they have shown us throughout our 13 years at The White Horse.
We would also like to recognise the many brilliant members of staff who have worked with us over the years. The pub has been fortunate to have been led by some fantastic managers and supported by hardworking and dedicated teams, all of whom have played their part in making The White Horse what it is today.
While it is undoubtedly sad for us to say goodbye, we leave with enormous affection for the pub, our customers, our staff and the village of Ruddington.
We very much hope that The White Horse continues to thrive for many years to come and remains at the heart of the community.
