What if eating well wasn’t a luxury or something saved for a special occasion, but simply part of everyday life?

It’s an idea Nottingham has seen before.

In the 1940s, public restaurants opened across the city, including in Hyson Green, Radford and St Ann’s, bringing people from all walks of life together over nourishing, everyday meals.

At No.37, we’re taking inspiration from that history and bringing the idea into the present.

A proper place to eat. A place to meet, pause, share a meal and come back to. Fresh, locally grown food, rooted in the community around us.

Nottingham’s public restaurant is back. Good food. Everyday prices.

Something new is coming to Hyson Green… 🍽️

Meet No.37 Public Restaurant, home to DISHED, a place for families, workers, students, local residents and anyone who fancies a proper meal without the usual restaurant price tag.

Inspired by Nottingham’s history of public restaurants, we’re bringing the idea back for today: fresh, nourishing food cooked from scratch, properly priced and served with dignity.

Everyone is welcome at the table.
