We’re looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at Alchemilla.

Based in Nottingham, our Michelin-starred kitchen is all about bold flavours, seasonal British produce, fermentation, preservation and reimagining the way we cook.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has previous experience in a professional kitchen
• Is passionate about food and hospitality
• Takes pride in consistency, quality & presentation
• Works well as part of a team
• Is keen to learn, develop and contribute ideas
• Wants to be part of a kitchen with high standards and big ambitions

We are looking for an experienced, ambitious, passion driven leader to join our Alchemilla Team as Restaurant Manager.

This is a brilliant opportunity allowing you the responsibility of leading our wonderfully talented team of individuals to collectively maintain and build upon the excellent, fundamentally unique and unforgettable experience that is Alchemilla.

What we are looking for:
Ideally 5-10 years experience in hospitality/restaurants
Previous experience in a Michelin restaurant is preferred
Previous experience in a managerial/supervisory role is preferred
A determined work ethic in order to lead by example and promote growth amongst the team
Great punctuality
A clear and calm communication style to lead with integrity
Multi-tasking abilities that show great control of all of the variable elements of service
Administrative skills that set the tone for an amazing guest experience right form their first email or phone call
A person who is respectful and takes accountability for their actions, understands how to manage their time appropriately, works well under pressure and can make split second decisions and has a creative approach to solving problems
Someone who has fantastic, warm people skills and can develop genuine, long lasting connections with our wonderful guests
Someone who prioritises honesty over ego to leave room for improvement in all areas

Our terrace is available on a walk-in basis only.

We plated the dish, tasted it, and knew it was missing something. Five minutes later we were up on the roof terrace picking fresh herbs, and it all came together.
