What a Sunday🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💚

Our 4th year opening early on Robin Hood Half & Mini Marathon day and offer free a scoop of gelato to all the runners. It was so lovely seeing so many familiar faces coming back again. Some of you we only get to see once a year, but somehow it always feels like no time has passed 🥹

We opened at 8am as always, ready with coffee, food and a little energy boost before the run — and of course plenty of gelato 🍧for runners…..

It was so lovely seeing everyone enjoying their gelato, especially knowing how much effort and preparation you’ve all put into today. You worked hard for it, and you absolutely deserved that little sweet treat 💚

We also loved seeing so many of our regulars taking part in the Mini Marathon, along with families, friends and furry friends coming together for such a special day. It really is one of those days that makes us feel so lucky to be part of this community.

We’re so happy to be part of your Marathon Sunday, year after year~

Now go and put your feet up, runners — you’ve earned it 💤

👋🏻 Hi everyone ~

Sometimes, the smallest moments mean the most🥹

This morning, we had a lovely gentleman visit Bubble & Bean for the very first time. He ordered a bacon 🥓 bap and, after trying it, he looked at me and said:

“That’s the best breakfast bap I’ve ever had.” 🥹

I smiled and told him,
“You know, I should have recorded you saying that!”😝

We have so many lovely customers telling us how much they enjoy our breakfast baps too, but somehow, I never think to record those special moments.

He simply smiled and said,

“It’s alright, you can record me.”

And that honestly made my day! ❣️

He told me he often watches the cricket 🏏 nearby, so he’ll be coming back to see us whenever he’s around. He even picked up one of our ☕️ Coffee Loyalty Cards, saying he’ll be coming back regularly next year when the cricket season starts again🥰

For a small independent café like ours, these little things mean SO much.

A kind word.
A compliment.
A smile.
A loyalty card.
Coming back again.

They might seem like tiny things, but to us, they are huge encouragements. They remind us why we keep going, especially on the quiet days when we sometimes wonder if people notice all the love and hard work we put into our little shop💚

And I truly believe that when the right people walk through our door — people who genuinely love what we do — somehow, customers become friends🧡

That’s why, when we look around and see so many familiar faces coming back to Bubble & Bean again and again, we feel incredibly lucky.

Maybe some of these friendships were simply meant to find us🥹

Thank you to every single person who supports our little shop.

Every visit, every kind word and every “see you next time” means more than you know🫶🏻

We had such a lovely Tuesday evening with all the puppies 🐶

It was so nice to see so many familiar Bubble & Bean faces, as well as meet lots of new ones too. And we were especially excited to see three Nottingham Forest Women players Aimee Claypole Chloe Mustaki joining the Puppy Event⚽️

It was such a lovely surprise to meet them, and of course we had to take a few photos to capture the memories 📸

I often get messages from friends asking:
“I’d love to come to your Puppy Event! How do I book?”
“Is there another date coming up?”
“Do you have any more spaces?”

We absolutely love having them here. It’s such a wonderful group of dog lovers creating so much happiness, fun and beautiful memories for everyone who joins. 🥰

And when you come… why not make a whole evening of it? ☕️🧋🍵🍰🍧

Enjoy a coffee, matcha, bubble tea, cake or one of our sweet treats before the puppies arrive — or stay afterwards for a little drink and something sweet. 😋

And yes… we do decaf! 🤎
Decaf coffee and decaf tea are both available, so there’s something for everyone — even if you don’t fancy caffeine in the evening🌙

If you’re driving, some nearby parking is free for one hour, and also free after 6pm, so you can always arrive a little earlier, grab a drink, have a light bite and relax before the fun begins. 🐶☕️

It’s race day in Nottingham! And just like in previous years, Bubble & Bean will be opening early from 8am to welcome all you amazing runners, supporters, friends and families☕️🏃🏻‍♀️🐶

🏃🏻‍♂️ Running the half marathon?
Come and see us before the race for your favourite coffee, a drink or a treat to fuel you up before heading to the start line.

🧡Supporting someone running?
Come and make yourself felling home at Bubble & Bean while you wait! We’ve got lots of seating, coffee, drinks, brunch and treats — so why not make a morning of it? ☕️🧋🍵🫖🥓🍳🥯🥪🥟🥐…

And of course… after you’ve crossed that finish line, we’ve got a little treat waiting for you🍦

Look what I noticed while having a little tidy-up at Bubble & Bean 🥹

Over the years, so many of our little customers have left us the sweetest little memories — drawings of their favourite bubble tea, little notes, Chinese characters, reward stickers to share with us, and so many other little treasures 🧋🎨💌

We’ve put them all on our fridge over the years, where we can see them every day… and honestly, every time I look at them, they make me smile 🥰

It made me realise just how many little memories we’ve collected here over the years.

Bubble & Bean is so much more than just coffee and bubble tea. It’s the people, the friendships, the little moments, and watching our little customers grow up with us ❤️

With the weather getting cooler and autumn just around the corner, we’ve already had SO many orders for our Pumpkin Spice Latte 🧡

Here’s a little secret — we actually serve our Pumpkin Spice Latte ALL YEAR ROUND😍

Why? Because it’s one of Jojo’s absolute favourite drinks🥰………..
