👋🏻Hi everyone~

Day 6 of recovery 🩵

Still mostly in bed… not 100% yet, but getting there slowly. Some moments feel weak, but my heart feels so full.

I’ve been so lucky — surrounded by family, taking turns to care for me… real “five-star bed service” 🥹

Thank you for every message, every kind word, every bit of love. I see them all, and they truly mean more than you know.

I even tried to do a little work on Tuesday (couldn’t help it 😅)… after 3.5 years of Bubble & Bean, it’s just part of me now. And wow — hundreds of applications in just one day. I’m honestly so grateful for all the support.

I might be slow with replies (I don’t not have energy to do this job at moment), and I may not be able to get back to everyone, but I truly wish you all the very best in your job search. Interviews will be in early August after we reopen, and I can’t wait to welcome some new faces into our little family 💛

This time away has helped me rest… but I really miss the café, the chats, and all of you. Bubble & Bean has never just been a shop — it’s home, it’s people, it’s heart.

Looking back at the very first day we got the keys… time really flies. Thank you for being part of this journey with us 🧡

We’re looking for part-time café staff to join our team from 8th of August.

If you’re available for:
🧡 End-of-day cleaning shifts (3pm–5pm)
💚 Weekends
💛 Late evenings for special events 🍷🐶 🎂🎉and Nottingham Forest match days ⚽️

💭 What we’re looking for:
• Barista experience is a big plus (but not required!)
• Passion for coffee, matcha, and bubble tea 🧋
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Friendly, chatty, and love connecting with people
• Must love dogs 🐶 and kids 💛
• Responsible, punctual, and good with time management
• Enjoy cleaning and keeping the café tidy

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced café environment and takes pride in both great drinks and a clean, welcoming space.

👋🏻 Hi everyone~

How are you? Hope you all better than me🥹

Life can change in an instant. One moment you’re on holiday, the next you’re in emergency.

I ended up in the hospital emergency on Friday afternoon, and now I still need quite some time to rest and recover in my own bed. I’m not sure how long it will take, but I truly hope I’ll feel better soon.

Looking forward to spending more time with my family and enjoying everything again once I’m back on my feet. Miss you all—take care 🫶🏻

And that’s a wrap 🎬✨

Today was our last shift before we head off on our longest holiday EVER since opening (we’re excited… and just a tiny bit emotional 🥹💛)

Big hugs to everyone who popped in to say a little “bye for now” — it truly meant the world to us 🫶 And thank you as well to those who couldn’t make it but sent such kind messages 💌 we feel so loved. It was such a lovely, chilled day… our hearts are full.

Extra special moment today 💕 it was SO lovely to see so many familiar families — especially one of our very first baby groups. Seeing the parents back together, now with their little ones who are not babies anymore… watching those meet-ups grow into real, long-time friendships… it’s just amazing.

And the kids 😭💛 seeing them all grown up, calling my names, giving cuddles and kisses… that completely melted our hearts. We feel so lucky to have been a tiny part of their growing-up journey — it means more than we can ever say.

Also… shoutout to one of the world’s super dads who came in with a full bubble tea order list AND a tray ready for collection 👏 what a legend! Such a great idea. Wishing his girl the happiest birthday 🎂💕

With a quieter day, we rolled up our sleeves and gave Bubble & Bean a full deep clean 🧼✨ she’ll be extra fresh and ready to welcome you all back when we reopen!

No July events while we’re away, but we’ll be sharing more plans soon… and trust us, lots of fun is coming 👀

For now, we’re off to recharge, relax… and maybe forget what alarms sound like 😴☀️ (although… I have a feeling that might make going back a bit miserable 🤣)

Just a little heads up — tomorrow is our last day before we head home for a long break 🏡✈️

We just want to say a HUGE thank you to all of you who’ve popped in to see us recently, say goodbye, and wish us well 🥹it truly means so much to us.

And thank you to everyone who came by today and make more memories at Bubble & Bean 🧋☕✨ plus all the new faces who found us and quickly became friends 💚

Life can be a bit up and down sometimes, but you guys always remind us to focus on the good ✨ and enjoy the moment 💫 We’re so grateful for all the support, kindness, and love you’ve shown us 💝

We’ve had so many laughs 😂, chats 🗣️, and little surprises 🎁 — honestly, we feel so lucky to have such an amazing community around us. Thanks so much for ‘s lovely surprise gift, it really made me cry 😭how thoughtful is that? It reminds us to keep doing what we love and focus on what really matters ~

We’re only away for a month ⏳ and we already know we’re going to miss you loads 😭 but don’t worry — we’ll be back soon, refreshed ✨ with more drinks 🧋, food 🍰, treats ideas 💫

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring everything together — and as always, making your coffee dreams come true ☕✨

As some of you know, we lost an important parcel last week which caused delays — thank you so much for your patience 💚

🎉 Good news: Bubble & Bean coffee beans are finally here~

If you have a coffee machine at home (or know someone who does), pop in and grab a pack — they also make a perfect gift 💝for coffee lovers ~

We have some ready in-store, or 💌 DM us to pre-order and skip the wait.

⏳ Only 2 more days before our break — today & tomorrow (Sunday is our last day!).

Also, just to clarify from a few customers — we’ll be away for a month (not a short break 😜). Sorry for the confusion, and thank you for all the love 🥺💛
