Dear customers,
Now that we have provided the police with the CCTV footage and that the aggressor himself has also posted a few seconds of footage that falsely present him as innocent, we are able to also provide CCTV footage for everyone.
We do not allow anyone to harass and shout at female members of staff and we do not allow anyone to assault our older managers.
In this footage, the man enters the store and drops a food item onto the counter and begins to swear at the female members of staff and continues his aggressive behaviour towards them.
He continues to threaten and swear at them until the 60 year old manager intervenes. He finally says what the issue is only when the male manager gets involved and demands a refund whilst shouting, swearing and making violent threats.
When the manager informs him that he cannot treat the staff members like that, he continues to provoke the 60 year old manager with threats, foul language and an aggressive tone. The manager can be seen waving his hands in the air, asking the man to calm down, but the man proceeds to assault the manager with the food item instead.
The CCTV then shows the manager grabbing his phone to call the police and the man instantly grabs his own phone to illegally record the staff after knowing that committed a criminal action. He does this to pose as innocent, not knowing that our CCTV captured him as being the aggressor. Had we not called the police, he may have mistakenly attempted to become even more violent.
It is surprising that a grown man could lack such basic manners and as a fellow business owner, he should know better than to harass female members of staff and to assault older men and to continue provoking everyone.
Had he politely asked for a refund, then he would have received one. Additionally, food items cannot be refunded once thrown at people and onto the floor. Unfortunately, his lack of basic manners and decency prevented this.
As professionals, we decided to not physically remove him from the premises and instead called the police, as any business owner should. We would like to thank them for their quick and efficient service. May this video also serve as a warning for other business owners to watch out for this disruptive individual.
Thank you for your support.
