Social Board Gaming Thursdays at The Dice Box Nottingham is a weekly event created for people to link up and enjoy playing some great games together in a friendly, relaxing and inclusive space.
STARTS ON THURSDAY 4TH JUNE!
Come alone or in a group - it's open to everyone... and experience level does not matter!
For people fresh to the hobby it's a chance to try something new alongside fellow-enthusiasts, discovering week by week which games will become firm favourites.
And for seasoned gamers who don't have a regular group, there's the opportunity to play those big games that don't often make it to the table.
Of course, we'll always encourage everyone to mix it up and play with new people each week, particularly when party games are the order of the day, or when experienced players are happy to help beginners learn the games they love.
Our event is also great for people just looking to socialise. Party games can always help break the ice on any occasion - but it doesn't necessarily have to lead to a love of board gaming!
And with all this taking place in our air-conditioned, accessible and fully-licensed venue, and hosted by someone with 4 years' experience running gaming socials... it's definitely one for your calendar!
The event starts at 6pm, but don't worry if you have to arrive a little later. We'll encourage the earliest attendees to start with the type of shorter games that allow others to join as they arrive. We can then make suitable groups once everyone's in.
And don't be too concerned about the published finishing time either - that's just a guide and by no means a dictation! It's okay to keep playing together right up until closing time at 11pm.
