ADVANCE WARNING!
Due to an important family event I'm afraid there will be no Roast Runner service on Sunday 21st June, I do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Hi everyone, I'm delighted to report that the salad plates were once again very well received so with sunny weatherforecast I will be offering these as a regular fixture over the summer, as well as the traditional Sunday roasts. To save a very detailed menu I haven't listed all the ingredients used on each option, so please message me if in doubt, everything is home produced so I can easily adjust to suit. I am also happy to make larger portions anytime to take the pressure off your barbeque or party! Many thanks for the continued support and have a great week.

14th June Menu

MAIN HOT MEALS

Roast Beef, Turkey Breast or Gammon.
Cod loin with creamy Parsley sauce.
Vegetarian option Mediterranean Tart

Choice of roast, mash or new potatoes

All with Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and a pig in blanket. Gravy and sauces served separately.

Choose up to 4 vegetables
Glazed carrots
Honey and mustard roast parsnips Cauliflower, plain or in cheese sauce
Roasted vegetable mix ( probably? Broccoli, sweet potato, pepper, courgette tomato, onion and garlic)
Cabbage with leeks and bacon
Tenderstem Broccoli

COLD SALAD PLATE

Cold cut beef, turkey or gammon
Chicken and grape salad with honey mustard dressing

ROAST RUNNER menu for this week
Hi everyone,Those lazy, crazy days of, summer are finally here! Extremely hot working in the kitchen both at home and in the Pleasure Boat. Im trying an experiment this week with the offer of a salad plate, choice of this weeks roast meat, served cold cut or also grilled halloumi, or prawn with Marie Rose sauce (or any combination). This week im keeping it simple to see how it works so the plate will also contain a mixed green salad, potato salad, coleslaw and tomato, mozzarella and pesto salad. If this proves a popular summer option then I will increase the salad choices in the future. I can also make delicious salad accompianments for your barbeque or party! Hi everyone, Apologies for being a bit late again posting the menu, been another busy week so far planting veg (and working). Another big weekend, was honoured to provide lunch for a family get together and recieved great feedback about what a success it was, huge thanks to my son Alasdair who is proving himself as a valuable sous chef and gaining confidence in the kitchen and planning involved as well as taking some of the pressure off me, (he's also not bad at gardening if anyone needs a pair of hands, lol).Many thanks for the continued support and have a great week.
