The Last Restaurant & Bar Welcome to The Last Bar & Restaurant Norwich, a former Victorian shoe factory turned Restaurant. That, though, is where the nostalgia stops. Eat in or take out.

We first opened our doors in 1990 in what was once a 19th Century Victorian shoe factory. Many first-time diners are unaware of the significance of our name until they arrive at the venue set in the heart of one of the oldest parts of Norwich. When you visit us we hope that you will enjoy the historic atmosphere and the shoe lasts that are evidence of its past occupants. We provide food and wine that will stand comparison with any of our contemporaries. Our three distinctive dining areas each offer a different ambiance. The bar and downstairs areas retain some of the original features from their time as part of the shoe factory. The main upstairs restaurant area offers a modern spacious atmosphere. To complement our food we offer a hand-picked wine list. Chef Patron Iain McCarten and his team deliver inventive menus, locally sourced, ethical and great value. At the Last you will find yourself in good company and we hope that you'll discover that it is a place where you can relax and either enjoy a simple glass of wine, or stay for the whole evening. Don't miss The Brasserie Café, serving up deliciously rich coffees, sweet treats and stylish vibes. Open Monday to Friday.

Expect an evening of American Songbook standards synonymous with the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Dinah Washington. Music runs from 7.30-10.30pm.
