These cool cats are off to university this week… Please join us in wishing the very lovely and good luck in their studies!

We’re hoping if the holidays allow, they’ll be back at Herbie’s before you know it… So until then, thank you both for all of your hard work and have an amazing time at uni 💪

Hello, good morning and welcome to the weekend!

Our Saturday special is looking a little different this week with fresh, hand picked bunches from our neighbour Katie . We actually had some bunches as our Friday specials too, but they flew out of the door before we could even tell the Internet!

Here from 9:30am for coffee, cake, snacks in our comfy café – and if we don’t see you today, Sunday beckons! Bring a paper, book, a ferocious competitive steak for table tennis or co****le...

… Oh, and rumour has it, we have giant jenga.

Herbie’s is on the hunt for something substantially savoury… 👀

We’re looking for a local cook or food business to help us bring fresh, delicious, proper lunch options to Herbie’s. Think healthy, satisfying, and exciting enough that people drive out just for it; the way they already do for our cakes and pastries.

It could be colourful salads, grain bowls, knockout sandwiches or something we haven’t even imagined yet. If you can deliver regularly and make magic that needs little-to-no prep on our side, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a brilliant chance to work with us in a creative, collaborative way and get your food in front of a seriously hungry audience (especially our padel players fresh off court).

Friday hits a little different when you’ve taken delivery of TWO new chairs for the summer season… ⚡️

With school holidays very much in progress we thought it might be a good moment to also throw our hat in the ring for an alt-day out in the countryside.

Round up your family and head across to Herbie’s and Blazing Padels 7 days a week for drinks, snacks, corn hole, table tennis, lawn games and maybe even a padel lesson or two (14+)…

Need to extend your stay? Our very good friends and neighbours over at can provide essential post-padel pizza and a pint every Friday until 9pm…
