Carousel Kitchen are taking over the food tonight from 6–9pm with burritos, nachos and more! 😋

And because apparently one thing happening on a Wednesday isn't enough…

Heartbroken to tell you that Rosie crossed the Rainbow Bridge today 🌈🐾😪💔

She was my Rosie From The Rose, my RoRo, my Do**us, and she was the most beautiful, gentle, calming soul who got me through some of my darkest days. She was also incredibly lazy, a sofa & bed hog, & could clear the pub with a single 'love puff', and I loved her with all my heart.

Thank you so much to John and Jen for making her last few months so comfortable and full of love, and to Hayley & Richard Pattrick at Norfolk Greyhound Rescue for all they have done for Rosie, for me & the 100s of dogs they rescue every year you are amazing.

These are my neighbours, absolute gems who are an asset to this community and lovely, lovely people - they were concerned about comments about the article & unfortunately they were proved right. There are vile people out there & they live among us. 😢

But if you're not a racist moron, then please give them a look if you're in the neighbourhood, the fresh fish looks amazing (I'm not a fan so haven't tried any) and it's so good to have a butchers back on the street again X

Woozy Words is back this Wednesday! ✍️🍷

Expect a mix of writing prompts, creative exercises and ideas to get the words flowing – all very relaxed, sociable and with absolutely no pressure to produce the next Booker Prize winner.

And this time, there are BURRITOS 🌯

Carousel Kitchen will be serving from 6–9pm, with Woozy Words getting underway at 8pm – £10pp including your first drink.

Come for the burritos, stay for the words. Or come for the words and accidentally eat a burrito. Both perfectly acceptable.

Aoibhe’s final shift at The Rose is THIS FRIDAY 😭🌹

Last week she marked the occasion by taking over a round of the quiz… and then having the cheek to WIN THE SNOWBALL POT 😂💰

After being an integral part of The Rose family for so long, Friday is your last chance to catch her behind the bar. Come down and help us give her the send-off she deserves ❤️

We’re going to miss her loads.
