Last weekend we had the pleasure of setting up this beautiful, traditional style three tier wedding cake for Shelley & Paul, who celebrated their special day at Nunsmere Hall

They chose a gorgeous combination of flavours:

Bottom tier: Red velvet
Middle tier: Chocolate
Top tier: Vanilla

Finished with silk flowers and topped with a classic bride and groom — we loved bringing their cake vision to life!

Last weekend, we had the pleasure of creating and setting up this beautiful three-tier wedding cake for Helen & Peter at the stunning Cranage Hall.

They chose a timeless, classic design featuring elegant silk flowers, with the bottom tier finished with delicate sugarpaste pleats for an extra touch of sophistication.

In addition to their wedding cake, we also supplied personalised cookies for their favours.

On Saturday we had the pleasure of delivering and setting up this beautiful three-tier wedding cake for Sarah & Liam at Pryors Hayes. They chose a stunning combination of elegant ruffles, a quilted cushion effect tier and plenty of sparkle. To make it even more special, the largest tier was lemon cake—Liam’s favourite! 🍋

Our youngest grandsons, Jacob and Henry, are taking part in the Alder Hey Summer Challenge by completing 43 miles during the summer holidays. Whether they’re walking, scooting, running, or cycling, they’re determined to reach their target while raising money for a hospital that holds a very special place in our family’s hearts.

Alder Hey has supported our family through some of our most challenging times. Most recently, they saved our granddaughter’s life when she developed septic shock and spent 54 days in their care. Since infancy, she has also undergone several heart surgeries at Alder Hey, where she has always received exceptional treatment and support. Last year, Jacob himself underwent surgery there, and other members of our family, as well as children of close friends, have also benefited from the outstanding care they provide.

The compassion, dedication, and expertise shown by everyone at Alder Hey is something we will always be grateful for. This challenge is our way of giving back to the incredible people who make such a difference to the lives of children and families every day.

If you are able to support Jacob and Henry, we would be truly grateful. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help Alder Hey continue delivering life-saving care and support, while also motivating the boys as they work towards completing their 43-mile challenge.

Last weekend we had the pleasure of creating this elegant wedding cake for Vikki & Paul as they celebrated their marriage at one of our favourite venues.

The couple chose two delicious flavours – Paul’s favourite carrot cake for the top tier and a zesty lemon cake for the bottom tier.

Decorated with delicate edible pearls and finished with soft blush pink and ivory silk flowers and foliage, the design perfectly complemented their special day.

I usually stick to blending two sugarpastes together, as that consistently gives me the best results. However, for an upcoming wedding cake I needed a product that was fully nut-free, including being produced in a nut-free environment, so I decided to try Beau Sugarpaste.

I have to say, I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how well it has worked and how beautifully it has gone onto the cake. If you’re looking for a nut-free sugarpaste option, it’s definitely worth checking out Beau products.

A recent wedding cake for Alice & Jack, who celebrated their special day at the beautiful Alderley Edge Hotel.

A perfect spring wedding called for something equally special. When Alice first got in touch, she shared details of her dress and loved the idea of incorporating its design into the cake, I instantly knew just who could help bring that vision to life. The result was a stunning bespoke pin detail that tied everything together so perfectly.

To make it even more personal, Alice & Jack chose the sweetest tortoise toppers, adding such a unique and meaningful touch 🐢

It was such a joy to create this cake, every detail tells part of their story.
