The Great British Summer - is it here!?
What a long wait it’s been for blue skies & a bit of wonderful sunny days!
It’s a wonderful thing when you get take a glance at the weather app & see days on end of glorious sunshine. Of the many things it sparks in the imagination, one of the best is the pub beer garden.
As a publican, you can almost hear the chatter on the friends WhatsApp groups about the beer garden plans for the weekend ahead - get it while we can, but don’t peak too soon.
Public Safety Warning: Wear sunscreen! No one wants to be the lobster returning to work after the Bank Holiday weekend. If you forget some or start to feel it burn, we always make sure to have some available too.
Just as you start to enjoy the Summer sun, we get plotting with our Christmas plans - always difficult to talk about mulled wine in 24C heat.
In other news, we’ve taken the decision to postpone our Taste of Cheshire event. It seems hosting on the same night as the Champions League wasn’t our best idea - but fear not, we’ve rescheduled for Saturday 27th June instead. We’ve been building our monthly tasting menus up to this point & we’re raising our game. There’s a lot of work gone in to developing the menu with stories behind each course - we’re really excited to share with our guests on the night.

This one always sneaks up on us, only a few weeks away. To be sure of getting your preferred time, please make sure to book in with the team.
