We’ve been spending some time sourcing a good artisan bagel supplier, and are now delighted to have stock of yummy handmade bagels to be sold from monday with a variety of fillings 🤤

We may not be able to make you a Ritz salad, but we do have all the ingredients to make a Waldorf Salad ( apple, celery,,walnuts, mayonnaise) or any other salad from our chilled salad bar, including fillings such as Coronation Chicken, jerk & sweet chilli chicken, tuna mayo, triple cheese, prawns & avo, hot honey cauliflower wings, ( Vegan) you name it, we got it 🥗🫜🥗

Good afternoon Davenham & beyond.

We’re busy, busy bees, 🐝 serving our lovely communities and local businesses in the wider community, with freshly made food, locally made cakes & drinks, as well as working on making buffets; catering for corporate meetings, lunches, and family wakes too.

After the half term whit break, 🙌🏻✋⚡️🙌🏻 week commencing Monday, 1 June, we will be trialling a change of our work days of the week Monday - Friday; but closing Wednesdays, this is to allow us time to prep, do admin, and maybe even take a game of golf ( we wish !) however, please still contact us for buffets, should they fall on a Wednesday, and we will be happy to oblige 🥑🥔🥧🥘🍉🍪🍓

Next week is the Whit half term, (⛱️🛫🚤and we will be creating a number of family Meal Deals, for which parents/carers and offspring can enjoy as picnics in the park, or at home in the garden, so please pop in, or call ahead so we can have your orders ready before you set off for your day out !

Then and now… 3 years later 🗓⏳👣 and we are so very lucky to have a thriving business, and during this time to have met so many wonderful people, including a brilliant small team of colleagues.

We've been away for a relaxing break in the Cotswolds, buying locally baked goodies and enjoying the peaceful surroundings 😝. Highlights include Batsford Arboretum, Hathaway's Cottage, a river cruise on the Avon, and eating amazing food at . The village of Blockley we're staying is stunning, ( father Brown was filmed here apparently ) and we're loving the tranquility after avoiding the busyness at .farmshop ,where we bought diddly squat as we CBB queuing!

We are open tomorrow: back to business from 8:30 a.m. and look forward to opening our doors to our lovely customers’ !

Have a restful, happy bank holiday Monday one and all. Only 3 weeks until the next one !

SPRING TEASERS:

The spring equinox beckons, its our third season of frittata making, and Chef Trev has made the most delicious frittata which is available from tomorrow ( there’ll also be a veggie option from Monday ) which you can eat leisurely whilst languishing in garden ☀️ … 🙏

From tomorrow:

We also have cream cheese bagels back on the
ME N U, and we can’t wait to introduce, smoked / sweet chilli tofu & walnut quesadilla, with rocket & avocado. What’s not to love !

Keep an eye out on our socials, we’ve got many exciting dishes, flavoured iced & hot matcha as well as our full menu, including Yorkshire pudding wraps, as they’re for life, not just for Christmas xx 😜

What great community spirit,, truly wonderful, I wonder whether we can be nominated as the UK’s friendliest village ( and surrounding district. ) We are very blessed to live where we do.

Huge thank you to Davenham Parish Council members volunteers Road marshals and other businesses who made this a truly momentous occasion once again.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for your support, kindness, custom, and absolute loveliness, you’re the best !
