We’re always looking for better ways to do things and the right kit makes a difference.

We’ve switched to MOREE reusable coffee bags for the coffee we carry on our trucks and for our wholesale customers.

MOREE bags are rugged, reusable and properly up to the job, keeping our coffee fresh and protected when being loaded into Defenders, taken to events and used day in, day out by the businesses we work with.

It’s a small change that makes a real difference to the amount of packaging we use, and one we can now pass on to our wholesale partners too.

Less disposable, more built to last and undeniably Northumberland coffee.

Big skies. Wild coastline. Hard miles. Good people.

This weekend we’re proud to be supporting the Wild Deer Priory Ultra as athletes take on Britain’s most spectacular coastline (not biased 😉) from Bamburgh to Tynemouth.

For 24 hours straight, our team will be on the road, brewing coffee through the night and into the next day. You’ll find us at Bamburgh Links Car Park, Boulmer, Druridge Bay, Blyth and Tynemouth Priory, fuelling runners, crews, volunteers and spectators along the way.

We’ll see you standing on the start line when the sun rises, cheering you through the feed stops and when the finish line finally comes into view for a complementary brew from as part of your ticket.

This is what we do best and we can’t wait! See you on the coast.

From first light in the stable yard to the last round on the XC course ☕️🐎

What a brilliant weekend at Belsay Horse Trials! We spent it parked up in the lorry park serving coffee to the grooms, riders, owners, and everyone the who keeps these events moving long before the crowds arrive.

Our front, Bebba was wrapped in dress tartan at the Barbour splash water jump for spectators and we were so proud to be sponsors of our very own Northumberland coffee jump on course!

Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by one of the Defenders over the weekend for a brew. Events like this remind us why we’re proud to call Northumberland home 🩶
