☀️ Caramel Iced Lattes were definitely the drink of the day today! ☀️

With temperatures soaring, it’s been lovely seeing people popping in for something cold, refreshing and made just how they like it.

Whether it’s an iced latte, frappe, iced matcha, cold drink or a slice of homemade cake, it’s always worth wandering down the drive to see what’s on offer.

One thing we’ve discovered over the past couple of weeks is that we’ve been staying open much longer than we originally expected. When people keep visiting, we keep the coffee machine on!

So if you’ve been meaning to come and see our new pop-up coffee shop, don’t assume we’re closed. If the big grey doors are open, there’s a good chance coffee, cake and a friendly welcome are waiting for you.

Coffee & Cake Update ☕🍰

As we settle into our new pop-up coffee shop, our opening hours are becoming a little more flexible.

This week, we'll be open **at least 8.30am - 11am each day**.

However, if people keep popping in, we'll stay open longer. In fact, this past week we've stayed open until 6pm on a few days simply because customers kept coming through the door.

The reality is quite simple:

🤎 If people are using the coffee shop, we'll stay open.
🤎 If we have no customers, we'll close at 11am and get on with the many other jobs that keep The Roade House running.

If we do need to pop out, the **big grey doors will be closed**, and we also have a sign outside so you can see at a glance whether we're open or not.

We're really enjoying this new, more relaxed way of doing things and we're grateful to everyone who has continued to support us with their coffee, cake and catch-ups.

This week's cakes are already being planned... 😊

A fresh batch of brownies has just come out of the oven and is currently cooling on the counter.

A few people have popped in this afternoon, so we’re staying open a little longer today.

If you’re passing through the village and fancy a coffee, cake, cold drink or a quiet sit in the garden, the grey doors are open.

The more you’re able to use the pop-up coffee shop, the more often we’ll be able to stay open beyond our usual yoga hours.

A little Friday update from us ☕

We’re all set up now with the coffee machine in its new home and plenty of homemade cakes ready for the weekend.

Thank you to everyone who has popped in this week to support us as we’ve made the change. We were even open until 5pm today!

Tomorrow we’ll be open for most of the day, with lots of outdoor seating available if you’d like to enjoy a coffee in the sunshine.

As always, if the grey doors are open, we’re open!

As promised, here’s a little update from us. ☕

The coffee machine has now moved and our smaller coffee and cake area is all set up!

For now, we’re keeping things simple:

If the grey doors are open, we’re open.

We’ve also added a chalkboard sign outside to help you spot when we’re serving coffee, cake and drinks.

Thank you to everyone who popped in yesterday and patiently navigated the chaos while we moved things around. We really appreciate all your support as we find our feet with this new chapter.

It’s already looking like we’ll be open more often than we first expected, and there may even be some afternoon and evening openings too, depending on demand and what’s happening in the yoga studio.

We’re learning as we go, so please keep popping by for a coffee, cake and a chat. We’d love to see you.
