Sweet, salty, a little spicy from the hot honey, and plenty of that gorgeous fennel salami.

👀 CALLING LOCAL MAKERS, BAKERS & CREATIVES! 👀

We’re putting the feelers out… 👇

We’ve been chatting about the idea of bringing a Makers Market to the Black Swan Theatre — kicking things off with a festive Christmas edition this December, and potentially turning it into a regular monthly market if there’s enough interest. 🎄✨

Nothing is confirmed just yet! Right now, we simply want to see who’s out there and whether there’s enough interest from brilliant local traders to make it happen.

We’d love to hear from makers, bakers, artists, designers, local producers, vintage sellers, independent craftspeople and anyone with something a little different to bring along.

We’re currently looking at Saturday 5th December, early evening/twilight, for a potential first market.

We got the professional photos from the night! 🏆🥹

We’re all still a bit shocked that our little town pub has been awarded one of the most prestigious pub awards in the country. The Black Swan is technically now one of the best pubs in Britain!! ❤️

Okay… enough gloating 😂

We’re BACK OPEN TODAY! 🍕🔥

It was a late one getting everything prepped after Leeds, but we’ll be ready and serving from the hatch from 4pm today!

And tonight is definitely one to come down for — the pub’s celebrating with Friday Night Live, with karaoke, performances, pub games and some celebratory fizz being dished out! 🥂🎤🎭

So come grab a pizza, raise a glass and help us celebrate a pretty bloody massive week for our little corner of North Walsham. 🍕🍻🏆

🏆 WE BLOODY WON IT! 🏆

A slightly different post from the usual pizza content today…

Last night in Leeds, our home — The Black Swan Pub & Theatre, North Walsham — was named BEST PUB FOR ENTERTAINMENT at the Great British Pub Awards 2026! ❤️

Rudono wouldn’t exist without the Black Swan. It’s where you’ll find us down the loke, it’s where this little pizza business was given the chance to grow, and it’s a place I’m incredibly proud to be part of.

Getting to go up on stage alongside Joseph to collect that award last night was honestly such a special moment. What happens at the Black Swan is genuinely unique — theatre, live music, community events, ridiculous ideas that somehow become reality… and, of course, a tiny sourdough pizza shop tucked away in the courtyard. 🍕😂

This award belongs to everyone who puts their time, energy and love into the place — and everyone who comes through the doors and supports us.

RUDONO IS OFFICIALLY OFF DUTY 🍕✌️

For the first time since opening Rudono, I’ve actually closed the hatch and escaped North Walsham for a couple of days! 😂

Me, Joseph & Barbara are currently on our way to Leeds for the Great British Pub Awards 🏆 — and we’re attempting something we’re apparently not very good at… switching off.

So Rudono HQ is CLOSED, the dough can wait, the emails can wait and the little problems can wait.

And the same goes for our neighbours across the road at the Black Swan! Joseph & Barbara are away too, so unless something is genuinely urgent, please save the business questions, problems and “quick calls” until we’re all back. ❤️

We’ve barely made it to Leeds and the phones have already been going, so consider this our collective OUT OF OFFICE. 😂

I’ll be back firing up the Rudono ovens Friday afternoon. 🍕🔥

Until then, wish the Black Swan luck at the awards and please allow us approximately 48 hours of pretending we don’t own businesses. 😂❤️
