This afternoon we had a lovely time singing along to some of our favourite songs and musicians.

Today, we had a picnic-themed day.

During the morning, we spent time making our sandwiches to eat. 🥪

Following this in the afternoon, we had a sensory game of what's in the picnic basket. 🧺

The home was also decorated with a nature theme, and we had picnic blanket tablecloths 🌸🌳🌷. One of our ladies was my wonderful helper to get all the tablecloths in the best place.

Some amazing singing done for our wonderful residents birthday 🥳🎂

Yesterday we had a big birthday for our wonderful resident who turned 90! We welcomed her friends from the sheringham operatic group , who sang us some wonderful songs and invited some of our other residents to join 🥳🎉

Today we had our own balloon tennis tournament 🎾, linked in with the Wimbledon final. 🏆 This brought out lots of our residents competitive sides. However one lady couldn't stop apologising when she hit the balloon in the wrong direction. 🎈

We would like to say a great big thank you to North Walsham High School for inviting us to their community day on Thursday!

The year 8's put on some wonderful entertainment for us which brought back lots of memories to our residents.

One lady said "it was magnificent and it is a school to be proud of!"

One gentleman said "they were all very polite and well-mannered.

We all went home very full from the scrumptious food that was made and served to us by another group of the year 8's.

Over the course of the last few days we have been discussing, people we would like to say thank you to as well as things we would like to say thank you for. 😀🥰

As today is the United kingdom's, thank you day. We thought we would share some with you. 🙏
