Instead of taking part in the Macmillan coffee morning, I'm doing something a little different.👇🏼

I'll be collecting 💰 for Live Well With Cancer Charity all day on Friday, as well as donating a percentage of profits to this amazing organisation that helps people right here in the North East.

Live Well With Cancer supports people living with cancer, and their families, from their hub in North Shields. 🩷 

They host workshops, events and support groups, as well as providing moral support and resources for free to anyone affected by cancer.

Come along 😁 to the pink pod any time on Friday for a drink and a snack, and know you're making a real difference with your purchase.

🚨 The pink pod will be open 8.30am-12 noon this Saturday.

I've been invited to speak 🗣️ about my book NUFC Match of my Life at an event at theword_uk in South Shields with the lovely Helen Aitchison on Saturday afternoon.

There are tickets available for the event on The Word's website, if you're interested in hearing me ramble on about tracking down and chatting to Toon legends 😁.

If not, I'll just catch you 'afuera' (outside) tomorrow morning...

I usually stay away from any posts that could be construed as political, but I feel like this has to be said. 👇🏼

In light of recent undeserved negativity and vitriol directed towards the , who in my opinion epitomise what it is to be a local hero, I'd like to offer any RNLI volunteer free drinks at afuera (this goes for the as well).

I'm lucky enough to be friends with several RNLI crew members, and have nothing but admiration for them.

I'm aware this could lose me a bit of business from those people who believe that some people's lives are less important than others.

To be honest, I couldn't care less.

I'll also not be entering into any sort of debate surrounding immigration on social media. All I want is to show support and solidarity with those who risk their lives to save others.
