CHRISTMAS 2026 AT THE BAR 🌊🎄
Bookings are now open.
December down here gets dark by four. The boats sit still on their moorings, the water goes black and glassy, and the whole restaurant glows out through that glass front. Warm inside, winter outside, and a table by the window with your name on it.
We get four weeks of this a year. Then it's gone.
Christmas menus run Monday 24th November to Wednesday 23rd December.
🍽️ LUNCH — 2 courses £26 | 3 courses £29
🌙 EVENING — 2 courses £28 | 3 courses £34
Roast turkey done properly — stuffing, pigs in blankets, a Yorkshire the size of your hand. Crispy belly pork on buttery mash under a rich c***r gravy. Chef's homemade chowder with cod, smoked salmon and bacon. Evening adds king prawn linguine and a 10oz griddled sirloin.
Then Ferrero Rocher cheesecake, After Eight crème brûlée, or the Cointreau and chocolate trifle — all made here, by us.
Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free right through both menus.
👥 Tables up to 40 on one long table, or up to 70 for exclusive hire of the whole restaurant. Perfect for the office do — pre-orders taken, timings to suit, drinks poured the moment people arrive.
🐾 Dogs welcome in the lounge.
♿ Lift and step-free access throughout.
🅿️ Free parking on site.
A £10 deposit per person secures your table.
Don't miss out — Fridays and Saturdays go first, every year without fail.
