The Gatelodge Cafe is location at the entrance to Ards Community Hospital on Church Road. Car parking available on site at the hospital. We are housed in a historic gatelodge that has recently been renovated to incorporate a bright and airy modern extension. You can relax and enjoy our tasty homemade food and delicious gourmet coffee and specialty teas in our cosey nook. We have comfy armchairs and sofas and space for larger groups to meet. Everything we do is about supporting adults with a learning disability or difficulty. We provide training in front of house and food preparation to our clients and the goal is to help them develop and find employment. All profits are regenerated back in to make a difference to adults with a learning disability or difficulty. We are part of Stepping Stones NI www.steppingstonesni.com an award winning charity with four established social enterprises that have been developed over the last sixteen years. You will find a friendly, relaxed atmosphere at the Gatelodge Cafe. We serve different hot food specials every day. Our homemade sausasge rolls with Ballymalloe relish are already being talked about and selling out fast. We aim to impress you with our delicious homemade cooking and friendly service and wow you in that fact that this has been brought to you be adults with learning disabilities.
