Yesterday was a special day at Nidec Drives! 💚

Some of us put on our aprons the night before; others made a trip to the supermarket, and we all came together for one important cause: raising money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

One of our colleagues, Nicole, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in September 2025. Thanks to incredible determination and support from family and friends, Nicole has made an inspiring recovery, and now, she’s taking on an amazing challenge 💪

Next week, Nicole will be walking 5K in Birmingham to raise money and awareness for others living with MS. Our Cake Break was just one small way we could support her journey, and the generosity across the team was absolutely incredible.

Admin here… who also ran the SCORCHING Newtown 10K this weekend 😅 (I wore all black against everyone's advice. And yes I can confirm, it was a mistake 🥴)

What an amazing event on Sunday! Over 600 runners took on the challenge in blazing heat ☀️

Huge well done to everyone who ran, and to Adrenaline Sporting Events for putting on such a great day, we're always proud to support.

Last weekend saw the vibrant Lingen Davies Cancer Support Sunflower Sprint! 🌻💛

Over 750 participants took part across three locations, running through clouds of yellow, orange and green paint in support of Lingen Davies Cancer Fund. The event is helping to double chemotherapy capacity, meaning more patients can access vital treatment closer to home.

We’re incredibly proud to support events like this that make a real difference in our community and bring people together for such an important cause.

Take a look at some fantastic moments captured by our team on the day. A huge well done to Jason and Terri for taking part, and a big shout out to Claire, Millie and Soraya for bringing the energy at the paint station, making sure every runner was covered in colour!

Next up, we’re already looking forward to the EvaBuild Ltd football tournament on 1st August! ⚽

On 6th May 2026, we proudly inaugurated the Nidec Chennai Office and the Nidec Drives Experience and Application Development Center, marking a significant milestone in our India growth journey.

Joined by our global leaders Dominique Llonch, Michael Briggs, Greg Gorman, Anthony Pickering, and Laurent Babaud to mark this special occasion with us.
