This means we have a table available from Wednesday to Friday where people can sit and have a chat with anyone else sat at that table.

What is The Chatty Cafe Scheme?
The Chatty Cafe Scheme is the UK’s leading non‑profit social enterprise tackling loneliness and social isolation. We create simple, welcoming opportunities for people to connect in everyday places.

Our Chatter & Natter tables run in hundreds of cafés, community venues and public spaces across the UK. They’re friendly, open-to-all conversation tables where anyone can sit, chat and feel part of their community. Many are supported by our brilliant volunteers who help make each table warm, inclusive and easy to join.

Our purpose is to encourage human interaction and conversation, improving the lives of people affected by loneliness.

Our mission is to reduce loneliness by building a national network of volunteer‑led Chatter & Natter tables that offer simple, low‑pressure moments of connection.

What the Law RequiresPublic Places:

Your dog must wear the collar outside in parks, on streets, or in any public area—even if they are on a lead or well-behaved.

Contact Details: The tag or collar must display your name and full address (including the postcode).

A phone number is not strictly required by this specific law, but it is strongly recommended.

Microchips:
Microchipping is also a legal requirement, but it does not replace the need for a physical collar and tag.

Penalties and ExceptionsFines: Breaking this rule is a criminal offence. You could face a fine of up to £5,000.

Exceptions: Working dogs, police dogs, and registered guide dogs do not have to wear collars while working.

Our new see-through gazebo sides are up. Nowhere we can enclose our seating area on 3 and 2/3rds of the sides to keep the rain and wind out.
Come and enjoy a snug coffee, tea or food from our extensive menu.

Hi all,
After a really relaxing break with some lovely long picturesque walks around Bodmin Moor. We are back and will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 9.30am until 3.00pm.
For the foreseeable future we will be open from 9.30am to 3.00pm Wednesday to Sunday inclusive, serving food and drinks as usual.

This is our last day, before having a well deserved holiday in Cornwall.

We will be Closed from Saturday the 5th until Friday 11th inclusive.

Open again on Saturday the 12th September 09:30 am until 3.00 pm.

Our opening times throughout September and October will be 9.30am to 3.00pm, Wednesday to Sunday, Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

We look forward to seeing you all on our return.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us through out the last year.

We will endeavour to keep smiling and keep a warm welcome to all the local and distant communities that use us.
