Morning all

EXTREME HEAT PROTOCOL!!

With the conditions over the next few days PLEASE NOTE . We will stop serving HOT FOOD AT 1pm. ( 23rd Tuesday, 24th Wednesday and 25th Thursday)

We will still be open until 3pm just with the grills and fryers off!!

This is so the temperature inside doesn't get too hot and dangerous for our staff to work in.

We are making improvements to minimise this in the future.

Open Bank holiday Monday 9-3pm last hot food order today 2:30pm but might be 2pm if the kitchen is roasting hot .

The A382 roadworks . Thanks to M Group for their constant updates . This email is sent each month to those who have registered/sunscribed. Paper copies available at the cafe from Monday.

With SWW now done their main work hopefully we see fast progress on the new roundabout and potentially earlier than planned access through towards us maybe under some traffic conditions. Let's hope. Will ask at my next meeting with the contractor

Good luck to the people walking the Templar Way from Haytor to Shaldon raising funds for Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team - Ashburton they will be passing us around lunchtime

They say doesn't time fly !! FOUR YEARS AGO. This week the wonderful Tanya Tan Brooks started working for us at MT TUMS. So much have changed since then but as ever she is still the amazing rock we can rely on whenever required .

So I hope you all join me in thanking Tanya for putting up with me for FOUR years and hope she stays for many more .

Thanks Tan couldn't do it without you.

Hometown traffic brought to a standstilll with a massive Electrical unit being moved from Teignmouth to Exeter. Expect slow traffic if heading to Exeter over the next couple of hours , on the A380 chaos
