Remember that mural all about Emmeline Pankhurst and the Union Street riot that we've mentioned in the past?
Well thanks to some amazing young people that are part of our youth street art project and Devon County Council places to go things to do programme, it's complete!
Wander along at night with a UV light and see a different side to it!
Youth Street Art is on every other Saturday 2-4pm

We've started to receive some harvest collections this week which is great (keep an eye out for Thank You Friday!) but there's still a lot of our shelves which look very empty.

If you're able to donate anything to us this week, we'd be really grateful for any of the following items.

Every food parcel that we give out gives a family or an individual hope, but we can't do it without your help.

You can drop donations off to us directly between 10am and 1pm Monday to Friday or at one of our donation points:

Well last night was pretty special and a night we won't forget here in a hurry...

It was a blast celebrating all the amazing businesses, organisations and people in Newton Abbot and seeing the support and joy that everybody had for each other is exactly what we wanted from the Newton Abbot Business & Community Awards!

A massive congratulations to every single nominee, finalist and winner on the night. We wish everyone could get up on stage as you're all winners in our eyes!

A huge thank you to Julia Ward Civil Celebrant for bringing it all together on the night and to Newton Abbot Rugby Club for the brilliant venue. To all of this years sponsors, supporters, attendees, prize givers and raffle ticket buyers, we couldn't put this on without you ⭐

Finally a huge amount of praise needs to go to the volunteers of the hub, each one brings their own strengths, experiences and way of doing things, that often don't fit "the mould". Giving people the space to contribute in their own way, at their own pace, is at the heart of The Cwtch Hub and our volunteers show no matter their personal challenges, just how much everyone has to offer.
Personally, I've experienced the most difficult few months of my life and this team has been amazing. Their kindness, support and willingness to get stuck in have meant more to me than they probably realise. So Thank you for everything you do for the Hub, our community and for me. You make a difference, and I’m so grateful to have you beside me!
