๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š U9s Watcombe Youth Yellows ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›

The Yellows took on Totnes on Sunday and put in a great team performance. There were some fantastic spells of football, with some really great teamwork and plenty of passing and movement.

Coach Andy said โ€We came out second today, which was probably a fair result, but the boys never gave up and continued to play with great spirit right until the final whistle.โ€โšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘

Most importantly, they had fun, enjoyed their football and supported each other as a team โ€” and thatโ€™s what itโ€™s all about! ๐Ÿ’š

Well done, Yellows! ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š

๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’š NEWEST MEMBER OF THE GREEN ARMY! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿพ

Our U16 Girls & U12 Boys had a very special supporter todayโ€ฆ ๐Ÿถโšฝ๏ธ

Rocking her Watcombe bandana with pride, she was on the sidelines cheering the girls & boys on! ๐Ÿ’š

Weโ€™re not sure how much tactical advice she offered, but she definitely nailed the mascot duties! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿพ

10/10 for commitment. 11/10 for cuteness. ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’š

What a brilliant day at our U8s tournament at Long Lane! โšฝ๐Ÿ’š

Huge thanks to Gerry and Kev for leading the organisation of this brilliant event, and to every volunteer who gave up their time behind the scenes to make the day a huge success. ๐Ÿ’šโšฝ

Special shout-outs to our amazing U13 girls for volunteering, our young Watcombe refs (all former players ๐Ÿ˜œ) for doing a fantastic job, and Charlie from our U15 boys for once again stepping up and helping out โ€“ your commitment is hugely appreciated!

Seeing 102 children enjoying the game they love, playing with smiles on their faces and showing fantastic skill, respect and sportsmanship, is exactly what grassroots football is all about. Thank you to everyone who played a part in making it such a memorable day. โšฝ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ’š

And finallyโ€ฆ congratulations to Watcombe U8 Greens, our tournament champions! ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ’š

What a day! ๐Ÿ‘โšฝ
