There can't be anyone reading this that hasn't had a disappointing experience of the Scotch egg. You've probably picked one up from the chiller cabinet in a convenience store, supermarket or from a petrol station forecourt. More than likely it was covered in breadcrumbs that tasted more like sawdust and had the death rattle of the egg moving around inside it's disappointing sausage meat of some de

scription. It's become the butt of many jokes from Big Keith in the office biting into one after a partially tedious and slightly creepy speech to Alan Partridges digestive struggles! But biting into a fresh scotch egg is a wonderful thing, it is a totally different experience to the long life version that have become the punch line of so many jokes.

We’re looking for a reliable part-time team member to join us at our catering unit in Kingsteignton.

📍 Kingsteignton
⏰ Part-time – normally 2 shifts per week
📅 Monday–Friday
🌅 Early starts may be required
💷 National Living Wage
🏦 Paid monthly by BACS
🚀 Immediate start available!

Your main role will be helping us make our multi-award-winning Scotch eggs — so if you’re practical, hardworking, reliable and fancy learning how we make one of our most popular products, we’d love to hear from you!

⚠️ Due to the early starts, you must either live within walking distance of our Kingsteignton unit or have your own transport.

The Green Man is waking 🌿

One of our favourite magical days of the year in Bovey Tracey a proper celebration of spring, tradition, and all things wild and wonderful. Expect the sound of bells and sticks, swirling ribbons, and Morris dancers filling the streets with energy that feels older than the hills themselves.

This isn’t your average market… it’s ancient madness a touch of the mystical.

We’ll be there serving up our Scotch Eggs — the kind that just hit different when you’re stood in the sunshine, watching the dancers and soaking it all in. Trust us, they go down an absolute treat at this one.
